  Thank you for asking. As you said, we issued a 5G license on June 6. It can be said that since then, China's commercial 5G trains have been officially started. After the official start of 5G in our country, there has been another generation of mobile communication. Now our country's mobile communication is composed of four generations. What you said is also an important issue to be considered in the whole industry.

  First, the withdrawal of 2G and 3G networks is an inevitable choice for the upgrading of mobile communications, and is also the main practice of various countries in the world. According to incomplete statistics, since most user services have migrated to 4G networks, more than 100 operators and communication operators worldwide have implemented 2G and 3G retirement. These countries use the frequency vacated by 2G and 3G as a new generation of mobile communication deployment, such as 4G or even 5G in some countries. From the network level, if 2G and 3G do not return to the network, these resources will not be used by many users, occupying a position on the tower, mainly occupying land, power, maintenance costs, and even adding some spare parts for these networks. From the terminal point of view, at present we all know that the mobile phone in our hand is very convenient and can be accessed wherever we go. One of the conditions is that the mobile phone is fully modular and every frequency point has to be done. Therefore, withdrawal from the network can reduce some standards, not to mention the base station. The power consumption and cost of the base station and the terminal will be reduced. So this is a very good thing, this is the first point.

  Second, from the user's point of view, it is inappropriate to simply say "back" today and pull the switch tomorrow. We should fully consider the use of users. To put it simply, I returned the Internet today. All of us ordinary people do not feel that the Internet has returned when using mobile phones. Users can enjoy the return of the Internet but the service cannot be changed. What users really want is not the Internet but the service. As if we were taking the train, I remember that I used to go to school and take the train as a steam locomotive, which used to burn coal at a slower speed, and I wanted to buy the rear compartment when buying tickets at that time. Why? As soon as the soot from the coal burning in the front carriage poured into the window, the whole face was black. Later, the internal combustion engine locomotive was fast and stable, and did not need to burn coal. Then came the electric locomotive, then the high-speed railway. No matter how it changes, the train can't be affected, and the train was originally slower, the faster the later, not to say that everyone must take the coal burning car and the slow car, and must provide everyone with comfortable and convenient services. The same is true of the mobile network. When the mobile network withdraws from the network, there must be a plan to deal with the aftermath. For example, the number, especially the current mobile communication number, has taken a long time. When the network withdraws, the number does not change and the service content does not change. Of course, some service content is not 100%. If there is a better replacement, there must be a better service plan to replace the original service plan, providing faster, richer and more convenient broadband service, creating good conditions for users to be willing to withdraw and retire.

  Third, it is necessary to plan the withdrawal of the network in advance. The mobile network of the operating enterprise should be planned and informed in advance so that users and the operating enterprise have sufficient time and psychological preparation to promote the process of network withdrawal. Generally speaking, the withdrawal of mobile communication network is a natural course of the development of mobile communication network technology. With the perfect 4G coverage, our 4G network has already covered more than 98% of administrative villages, and our 5G commercial trains have all started to operate. The conditions for the withdrawal of 2G and 3G networks in our country have gradually matured. For example, our 3G network TD-SCDMA has a very light load at present. We encourage operating enterprises to actively guide users to migrate to the network and use limited frequency resources and network resources in the development of 5G and 4G mobile communication networks to reduce overall costs.
